It's the documentation that has the bug. With \startnarrow, you need two sets
of square brackets, 1 for the \setupnarrower data and 1 for the \startnarrower
data. Like this:
\starttext
Some text before
\startnarrow[left=5cm,right=1cm,before={\blank[2*line]},after={\blank[halfline]}][left
Hi,
While doing some more tests with my example from yesterday (tables in
\startnarrow), I've realized that the example from the wiki doesn't seem to
quite work as expected:
%%
\starttext
Some text before
\startnarrow[left=2cm,right=1cm,before={\blank[2*line]},after={\blank
Hi,
I need to have a table set with tabulate centered and a bit narrower. But it
seems that \startnarrow has no effect on the tabulate. Am I missing something ?
Is there a better way to achieve the same thing?
Best,
Denis
\starttext
\showframe
\startplacefigure[location=force,number
l need to
investigate what's going on with the full document.
On an unrelated note:
I cannot make \startnarrow[middle=1cm] (or left=... for that matter)
produce any offset on the left. I was playing with the following
code, but the frame refuses to be shifted to the right
\setupvimtyping
int main()
{
return 0;
}
\stopprogramlisting
For some reason the syntax highlighting doesn't work on the full
document, but it works inside the minimal example, so I still need to
investigate what's going on with the full document.
On an unrelated note:
I cannot
[ before={\blank\startnarrow[default=left,left=1cm]},
after={\stopnarrow\blank},
indenting={yes,-1cm}]
\showframe[text][text]
\starttext
before
\startlines
text \dorecurse{10}{ text}
text \dorecurse{40}{ text}
text \dorecurse{10}{ text}
\stoplines
after

Thank you Wolfgang,
Now is there a way to persuade the quotation marks to protrude?
Cheers,
